An interactive series highlighting the multitudes of decisions faced by women of color in Los Angeles.

Each episode follows a different storyline, each showcasing a bright woman making their way through a unique situation. Interactive decisions, mini-games, and perspective shifts help build  intimate understandings of the complex dynamics at play. More on Downtown Browns Website.

Interaction Design

Episode 1’s interactions focus on activities and actions in an attempt to steer the day while being met with external events.


Episode 2’s interactions focus on switching perspectives to compare the inner dialogue of the characters with the realities of the situation.


Episode 3’s interactions focus on conversational microaggressions with quick time events as well as multiple choice.
